Rent Payment Frequently Asked Questions
1.) When is rent due?
Rent is due on the 1st of the month and considered late after the 5th at midnight.
2.) How can I pay my rent?
Acceptable forms of rent payment include:
You may drop off your rent payment at RentPros’s office. Office hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, however a drop slot is located in the solid door to the right of the door of Suite 140 for your convenience.
3.) Why can’t I pay my rent online?
If you are trying to pay rent after the 5th, online payments are not accepted. You may remit payment via a cashier’s check or money order payable to RentPros Property Management. If you experience difficulties paying online and it is not past the 5th, please contact a bookkeeper at 916-789-3500.
4.) I received a 3 day notice to pay or quit. What do I need to do?
Please remit full payment via a cashier’s check or money order payable to RentPros Property Management within 3 days. Please note rent charges are outlined on the 1st page; all other charges that are due are outlined on the 2nd page.

Notice to Vacate
Your lease agreements requires a notice to vacate to be in writing and signed by all parties vacating. For your convenience you can download a “Notice to Vacate” form on the right side of this page.
Opening a Maintenance Request Online
1.) Have an emergency, call 911.
2.) Have an urgent issue, please call 916-789-3500 for faster service
3.) When reporting an issue(s) through your portal:
A.) Please give location of the issue(s)
B.) Provide as much detail as possible regarding what you are seeing, smelling, hearing
C.) Upload photos of the issue to your maintenance request

Changing Air Filters
Reminder – please change your air filter ever 30-60 days (check the instructions on the filter for frequency)
Heat/Air Conditioning Problems
1.) Check your thermostat. If it says you have a low battery, please change the batteries before making a maintenance request.
2.) If your heater is not turning on, check your electrical breaker. If the breaker has tripped, slam the breaker off and slam the breaker back on to reset.
3.) If your heater is coming on but not blowing warm air, open up a service request and provide this information.
